Cleaning your fruit - Chemical Free!

Cleaning your fruit it easy-breezy and I am going to teach you how.

  • Fill a clean sink with fresh water. If you don't want to use your sink, a big bowl will do just fine.
  • Add 1 cup of apple cider vinegar, and stir.
  • Add all of your fruit, and soak for 10 minutes, stir around occasionally.

Your water will be dirty, and your fruit will be sparkly clean. I like to take a soft towel and wipe them off before storing.

Apples store great on the counter for about a week and then I suggest moving them into the fridge to keep their crisp bite even longer.

This method is great for cherries too. The vinegar helps keep them from molding and will store in your fridge for weeks! The vinegar will not affect their taste.
