Packing up their B-210, they hit the road for Chelan to plant the seeds of both a marriage and a farming legacy. The early years were tough. Four lean seasons working Bill’s childhood farm tested their resolve. With their firstborn, Shyla, in tow, they boldly decided to start anew. They sought opportunities that aligned with their passion for the land. Before long, they found their rhythm, leasing local orchards, welcoming their second daughter, Natalie, and officially founding Diamondback Acres, Inc. in 1992. By 1995, they had achieved organic certification, marking the start of a lifelong commitment to sustainable farming.

The Clark family’s journey involves grit, perseverance, and deep-rooted values. Raising a family while building a thriving farm required adaptability. Bill and Angell embraced that challenge. Their daughters learned the value of hard work, resilience, and wearing many hats—both in the orchard and life. Their faith, love of nature, and unwavering optimism grounded them through the ups and downs.
